The Telecommunications team provides comprehensive support to clients for all telecommunications services at the University of Toronto.

Services available include the following:

  • Analog telephone service (Bell Centrex is the provider)
  • VoIP (digital) telephone service
  • Corporate cell phones

VoIP

Telecom is currently migrating individual VoIP phone lines to Microsoft Teams Phone, which will replace Communicator 7 as the University’s VoIP solution.

Corporate mobile phones

Corporate plans for mobile devices, provided through Rogers Mobility, are available to staff and faculty who have an agreement to have the cost of their device and phone plan covered by their department.
