As of October 1st 2015, Telecom Services is part of the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) group. This will better position the Telecom group to make the transition from traditional Bell Centrex phone lines to an IP-based telephony solution (VoIP) in order to provide better service and reduce costs. It will also ensure that the VoIP solution integrates with the many online collaboration and unified communications tools already in use at the University.
